SC Junction boxes

Stainless steel for all uses

Designed to ensure high mechanical strength and protection against external agents, SC junction boxes are made of AISI 304 stainless steel with Scotch-Brite finish and are also available in AISI 316 upon request. Compex junction boxes comply with the European EN 62208 standard and meet North American requirements with UL 508A and CSA C22.2 certifications. They offer an IP66/IP69K and IK08 protection rating according to EN 62208, and comply with NEMA Types 1, 12, 4, 4X under UL/CSA standards. The monobloc structure, continuously folded and welded, is equipped with M5 blind bushes for secure mounting. The cover features a polyurethane gasket, ensuring sealing even in critical conditions (-40°C to +90°C), while the cross-pan head fastening screws are fitted with a captive system to prevent accidental loss.

 

The SC series can be customized with tailor-made drilling and ad-hoc solutions and is completed by a full range of dedicated accessories, including internal mounting plates, wall brackets, DIN rail supports, and screws.

INTERNAL SPACERS

REAR MOUNTING FIXINGS
Enable secure fastening of the enclosure to supports (or directly to equipment) without requiring additional machining, thereby preserving the protection rating.

LID-BODY COUPLING
Engineered to ensure maximum gasket compression between body and lid. The design also prevents accidental gasket damage in the event of improper tightening of the lid screws.

SCREW RETENTION SYSTEM
Positioned outside the gasket edge to ensure sealing integrity. The lid fastening screws are equipped with a captive system to prevent loss
