Customer’s Requirement

Our customer set out to develop a brand-new professional coffee machine with innovative shapes, clearly inspired by sleek, appealing design lines – a key feature of their new premium model. Stainless-steel sheet metal was chosen over plastic as the preferred solution, with the goal of minimising tooling investments and achieving top-level aesthetics. The project was carried out in close collaboration with one of the most renowned design studios in the automotive sector.

The Solution: Production of side panels, drip trays and rear panels in hydroformed stainless steel

The hydroforming of AISI 304 stainless-steel sheet met all expectations, delivering outstanding quality in every respect, excellent process flexibility, and extremely low tooling costs. The customer expressed great satisfaction with the market reception of the machine – a clear success – presented at the most important trade fairs in the industry.

Hydroforming also proves to be an excellent solution for producing many other components of professional coffee machines, including side panels, drip trays, basins, uprights, front and side bars, trays, and more.
