Innovation and creativity in stainless steel design
In the world of design and furniture, the pursuit of innovation is constantly evolving. Lightweight forms, minimalist lines, and robust structures are key elements for designers and companies looking to stand out. Hydroforming is one of the most advanced technologies available today for producing components that are both visually flawless and highly functional, offering creative freedom and manufacturing versatility.
Thanks to Inoxveneta’s expertise, design meets innovation: high-quality materials and cutting-edge processes make it possible to achieve complex geometries, flawless surfaces, and lightweight structures without compromising strength or functionality.
Hydroforming enables the creation of complex shapes and lightweight structures, ensuring perfect surfaces without the need for additional finishing. Already a proven technology in sectors like automotive and professional equipment, hydroforming is now emerging as a winning solution in the world of design, thanks to its ability to deliver elegant, durable, and highly customizable components.
Examples of completed projects include:
The Design and Contract furniture sector, with its constant aesthetic and technological evolution, presents a continuous challenge for designers and industrial engineers.
International design trends have long favoured light, airy, and minimalist forms, pushing many companies and designers to explore new production solutions. One of these is hydroforming of tube and sheet metal.
In this case, the customer approached Inoxveneta in search of a manufacturing solution for a slim-profile chair leg, after several unsuccessful attempts using wood and cast aluminium. Traditional methods had failed to deliver the required mechanical strength under load.
Inoxveneta proposed stainless-steel hydroforming, successfully addressing all challenges with only minor adjustments to the design, and delivering a leg that met all key success factors:
The new collection of armchairs and sofas featuring hydroformed legs was an immediate success at its debut at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. The legs are now regularly manufactured at Inoxveneta’s hydroforming lines in Vittorio Veneto.
